fso-gsmd-htc software package provides freesmartphone.org GSM daemon for HTC devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fso-gsmd-htc
fso-gsmd-htc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fso-gsmd-htc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fso-gsmd-htc *
You will get with fso-gsmd-htc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
